The title is taken from the work of the American historian and geographer David Lowenthal.

“Coloured” refers both to the concept as well as the technique chosen in order to address those ideas. Throughout colouring four layers (cmyk) I create the sensation of a 3d image. A way to bring back to life, to keep it present. Millions of hand carved lines that obsessively draw and re draw the same faces. As remembrances that keep appearing; that are even similar to the ones of my family story.

Faces that stalk meticulously, which I engrave on plexiglass /on memory. Women that left an infinite legacy in their words and that today with my work I hope to pay them homage
